I first got to know Mathilde and Martin during their engagement shoot earlier this year, and I couldn’t wait to their relaxed midsummer wedding they were planning at Søgne Old Vicarage. I had good reason to be excited! The ceremony in Holum church was so lovely, and Mathilde had made so much beautiful decor, and she even made her own bouquet. The best thing was seing them together.
They also had an awesome blue bug as their wedding car, and we took the photos at the beach in Søgne. I just love the laid back summer feel this bride shows with a loose updo and bare feet on the beach.
They advise everyone else to have an engagement shoot before the wedding day:
“The photography session was so nice! We are so glad we did an engagement shoot beforehand, so that we knew what it was all about. We didn’t have to “get used to” being photographed on the wedding day, which meant the photography went so much smoother. We are gotten so much joy from our photos <3 and not to mention so many compliments.
We would like to recommend all other brides and grooms to do an engagement session in advance! It is so good to know how it works. And you’ll get great memories from the engagement shoot, and pictures to use in invitations, menus etc.”
Hi, I'm Ingvild
I spend as much of my time as I can being outside taking photos of happy couples in love. I live with my dog and boyfriend in Norway, and I love traveling the world in search of beautiful locations and love stories.
