Movies have always been a big part of my life, and when its cold and rainy and dark outside, I don’t even have to feel bad about wanting to stay in under a blanket in front of the TV all day. Here are some of my top choices:
1. About Time
My absolute favorite movie. It´s sweet, funny and makes me both smile and cry. It all feels so genuine. A must watch if you haven´t seen it already.
2. The Notebook
The ultimate girly film. But there is a reason for it. It is beautifully filmed, the chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling is amazing and the story is so so good.
3. The Holiday
The second I´d watched this film for the first time, I started it all over again. It is really funny, and Kate Winslet is such a star.
4. Brokeback Mountain
This is a painful, but good story, with quiet dialogue and a forbidden love. The surroundings are gorgeous and the acting is brilliant.
5. One Day
A different movie, where we only get to take part of one day each year of the story. It is not a film I´ve bared to see more than once. When you see it – you´ll know why.
6. Love and Other Drugs
This is both a funny and serious movie. Both Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway play their roles so convincingly. And I love her clothes!
7. Bridget Jones Diary – Trilogy
I just saw the third and final of this trilogy at the cinema, without great expectations. But I laugh so hard, and it was such a good ending to the series. The first one is definitely a classic, and a must-watch every Christmas.
8. Love Actually
Here is another Christmas themed movie that is too much of a classic not to be on my list. I´ve seen it an endless amount of times.
9. Leap Year
Matthew Goode is hilarious in this role as an Irish pub owner who meets stuck up American Amy Adams. I love his accent, the scenery and of course their involuntary road trip.
10. 27 dresses
Katherine Heigl is a beloved actress from Grey´s Anatomy, and even from further back in time- from her role in Roswell. In the later years however chick flicks seem to be her thing. In this one she play the eternal bridesmaid. And also – James Marsden is in it!
