After meeting Stine and Håkon a few months before their wedding (see the photos from the engagement shoot here) I couldn’t wait to photograph them again. They were planning what sounded like an amazing fall wedding at Kleivstua nearby Oslo. And it turned out to be even better than I imagined. On the drive to the venue the fall colors became more and more vivid and the view was even better than all the photos I’d seen beforehand. It was quite cold, but no wind.
The wedding day started with Stine getting ready with her maid of honor. I also stopped by Håkon and their son Petter before the ceremony. They were both so calm. No stress or chaos.
The officiant held a moving speed and I hope they get it in writing to keep for later. And after they were officially wed we went down to the paragliding ramp and took some portrait photos with a spectacular view in the background.
In many ways the highlight of the day was the reception. Not only was the food delicions, but the speeches were something else. The bride and groom said the lovliest things to each other, and some of the other speeches were so funny I almost forgot to take photos. We caught a few minutes of the sunset, and the evening ended with an epic dance party. What an unforgettable weekend!
